Board of Governors
The Board of Governors is made up of eighteen people with a wide range of experience and expertise including: banking, medicine, law, accounting, business, engineering and education. It is comprised of men and women from different professions and representatives of staff and parents. Many of our Governors are former pupils.
The Board of Governors is responsible for the delivery of education within the School and is also involved in staff appointments as the employing authority.
Members of the Board enjoy supporting school events and take great pride in all the achievements of the school.
The main Board meets four times per year and all members sit on at least one sub-committee. These include:
Education;
Finance and General Purposes;
House and Grounds;
The Futures Group; and
The Uniform Committee.
Members of the Board of Governors work hard to ensure that Bloomfield Collegiate School continues as a centre for ‘Excellence in a Caring Community’.
